A columbarium is a small burial structure attached to a church in a location protected from street traffic. Like many Uptown churches, St. Andrew’s is offering a place, both the columbarium and a memorial garden, for interment of ashes. In our mobile society, the need for burial sites has grown along with the desire to be remembered in a location where one lived and worked, not in a cemetery far away. Because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ we know that our deceased loved ones are secure forever in the loving embrace of God wherever they are buried.

If you have questions or would like to talk further about our columbarium and memorial garden, please e-mail Father James Morrison at jmorrison@standrewsnola.com or call at 866-0123.
